OTL: Time Category for a Time Entry Rule

 HI

I´m creating a TER using seeded formula "Period Hours vs Time Category". I want to create a warning when a worker report less than 40 hours on a weekly timecard. We use seeded Projects Layout.
My problem is the Time Category. As I understand there are predefined categories that are empty. My questions are:

Which one of the predefined categories shall I use and how do I map it??? I really need a step by step instruction to map the category. I have tried and read everything I can find but I still do not have a clue how to do this.....
