Purpose
Order policy code 4 was designed to be used with high-use/low cost items for which the user is not concerned about carrying excess inventory. No decrease messages will ever be created for an item with this order policy code. All other message types are relevant.

and

No decrease/increase messages are created for Periods Of Supply. 

Which one is correct??????? or are there circumstances that mitigate these statements???????

We are receiving increase and expedite messages for POS items.
