Blanket release entered more than once with different need by dates and quantities

Hi,
In case of a blanket release if a line is entered twice with different need by dates and quantities then the release document just shows one line and not the other. Is this a standard functionality or there is some work around for this. I am testing this scenario in a R12 instance.

Please share your views and inputs. Thanks in advance.
