What to look for in a GRID Specialist

I am looking to hire an OEM GRID specialist.  I am not familiar with the in and outs of the product but am looking for help in building requirements document for our human resources recruiters.  I need to flesh out a qualifications and responsibilities matrix.  Any help in getting this put together would be appreciated.
