Is it possible to use WEB ADI to create and upload journal entries without Self Service?

 We are trying to replace our client/server ADI with the WEB ADI.  We do not have Self Service.  All we need to do is create journal entries and upload them as we are able to do in our current client/server ADI.  Will we be able to do this without Self Service?
