OTL: Notifications about missing timecards

 Hi

I'm implementing OTL in R12.1. Our customer want a way to send a notification/email to a worker that haven´t submitted a timecard for a specific period - a timecard is missing. I know there is a ER for this issue, Bug 6011675 Need a way to alert users. Is this ER also regarding R12.1?

Do anyone know a workaround or a solution to handle this before this ER is implemented?
(I know about the  Missing Timecard Report and Supervisor dashboard)
