Database Restore Failed (Urgent)

Over the weekend we had an update to our DB corrupt some data. (Production Database)

We have just completed a RMAN restore using an offline backup.  The restore completed, however when I went to issue the command 'Alter Database Open Resetlogs' I recevied the following error. 

ora-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup

ora-01110: data file 1:  (c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db01\system01.dbf) 

What does this mean?  How do I recover from this?
