PLM\PIM Standalone vs Integrated Implementation

Dears,

Please could you advice about available implementation scenarios for PIM module.

On which criterea I have to decide wheather implementation will be a standalone or eBuisness suite integrated (if both scenarios exist already)?

Our current instance is 11.5.10.2 which PIM release we have to choose?

Please note that we have an R12.1.3 upgrade in progress do we have to wait or go for actual release to implement PIM?
