Managing Databases using Enterprise Manager (MOSC)

WHat do I use for managing Alpha VMS database

  We are running Oracle 9.2.0.8 on Alpha VMS standard edition  and use Oracle enterprise manager  (version 9)  to do things such as look as

- blocking locks

- hard hitting queries  and associated optimizer plan

 

We are about to upgrade to Oracle 10g

- database control is not available for Alpha VMS

- it appears Oracle grid control requires packs to see even the basic stuff that database control  gives you,  but  you can only licence the packs against enterprise edition databases

 

What are we meant to use for basic monitoring of a standard edition  Oracle 10g  database on VMS?
