Updating the 2nd and 3rd Item Number

We are getting a business function error when trying to update the 3rd Item number by using the P4101 application with Global Updates turned on.  In reading ID 654232.1, it sounds like the R41803 will update all tables in the 40 IC UDC.  In reading the Online Documentation (Help) about the R41803, it states that it will only update specific tables (F4102, F4105, F4108, F3002 and F3003).

Does anyone have experience with this UBE?
