NO_LOGGING on tables in Rel 12 instance

We had 7 corrupted datafiles in our Rel 12.1.3 instance and 11g RDBMS.  When we restored and recovered, we learned of them.  Why is it that some of these tables (AP_SUPPLIERS, AP_SUPPLIER_CONTACTS, ...) are in no_logging mode?  We have 623 tables in applsys, ap and gl that that way.

A contractor did the upgrade.  And this is a test instance prior to production in mid-May.
