Loading monthly currencies using Informatica Powercenter 8.1

Keep getting invalid data format when trying to load currencies to Hyperion Financial Management 11.1.1.2 using Informatica Power Center 8.1 (Data Integration Management).  Is there some setting on the adapter I need to add?
