What documentation to use for the 10gR2 on OEL?

 Where is the best installation instructions for Oracle 10gR2 to Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 (U6)?

 The current system environment is Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 U6 on VMware ESXi, 4.1.0, 260247.
 Now looking to install Oracle 10gR2 to the 64 bit OS.

 Should the "Oracle® Database Installation Guide 10g Release 2 (10.2) for Linux x86-64 Part Number B15667-03" be used?
 Or is there article?

 I question this as during the preinstallation tasks, I noticed that several of the packages were not install during installation.

 (Should this be posted under a Oracle Linux forum?)
