Dealing with unincorporated areas in ebusiness tax.
We have a vendor who falls in an unincorporated area(no city tax). I know that in ebusiness tax, we can create a jurisdiction at the city level and you can check/uncheck as a "inner jurisdiction" which will calculate/not calculate the city tax based on that setting.
However the point is ,vendor address is falling in santa cruz city (95062) and he says that zip code is in unincorporated area, but the city is still santa cruz city. At the city level(santa cruz), it is definitely not a unincorporated area.
As the ebiz tax does not allow us to define jurisdictions at the zip code level (lowest is the city level) we are not sure, how we can avoid city tax for him.
