Oracle Auto Service Request (ASR) is a proactive support capability that can help resolve certain hardware problems faster by automatically creating service requests for Oracle's qualified Sun server and storage systems when specific hardware faults occur. ASR is available as a feature of your Oracle or Sun hardware warranty, and Oracle Premier Support for Systems. The latest release of Oracle ASR version 3.1 includes the following new features:

  • ASR Manager is now installable on any Oracle Solaris 10 or Oracle Linux operating environment
