Time zone issue on Global nstance

  We are currently on 11.5.10 Instance and moving towards Single Global Instance. Main issue we are currently facing is different Time Zone .  System is on US time zone. What are different options to handle Time zone issue ?   1. How we can manage a proper closing on local time zone and there is no ideal period as system is still saying  its not midnight . For ex. India is 11.5 hours ahead . System time is US time zone. At midnight if I close  inventory period at India Operating  unit , I cannot do any transaction on India for next month because system date still before midnight
