Metric collection schedule quency not defined

 Hello all!

I'm a newbie on Oracle Database administration and I have a doubt regarding metrics.

On the Metric and Policy Settings page, I note that some metrics don't have a collection schedule defined. Even when I assign threshold values the collection schedule remains undefined.

In my particular case, I want to define thresholds on the "Process Limit Usage" metric. But as this metric doesn't have a collection schedule, I'm assuming that it will never generate an alert.

Is this true? And, if so, how can a collection schedule be defined for these metrics?
