Adding a Component to Existing Parent

Hello,

Does anyone have a document detailing how to add a new child instance to an existing parent utilizing the transaction details window in Order management? I recall way back a document on metalink but cant find it in support kbase. I can see how to replace an exsiting in the user guide but not how to add a new child componet to existing.
