Try to reverse Capitalize PA interfaced asset.

I hope I can get advice and feedback on workaround to resolve this issue.

 

1. 5 Assets were mistakenly created in PROJECT and because the TASK is assigned (added) with that specific asset – so all the 5 new Unassigned assets when generated and interfaced to Assets – they were created and ‘locked’ to that Asset.

 

2. I do not want to Reverse Capitalize because that will reverse ALL the past transactions for that Asset.

 

Is there a way to revert the assignment and revert back the CIP amount as if not being assigned?

 

I have tried to assigned and interface to Asset and in Prepare Mass Addition screen – I will remove the asset and then Add to Asset to an existing simple asset, then tries to Reverse Capitalize.
