Can a Modifier created for one operating unit be applied to a Sales order of an another operating un

 Hi,

We have an issue wherein a Modifier which is not exisiting in our Operating Unit (we are not able to query the Modifier in question) is being applied to a Sales order. Is this possible. Please revert.
