System 09 - GA next number AID approacing 99,999,999

Our next number table for Account ID's (AID) will soon be approaching the maximum capacity of the field which is 99999999 for system 09 - GA.  Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, what was your resolution?   Currently there does not appear to be a fix available.  Thanks.
