New Set of Books
I already have my Oracle GL system inplace.
We operate on a single set of books. Till date all entries were being passed in these books.
Now the requirement is to have an MIS books which will have entries only for reporting purpose.
There will be just couple of entries made in this books. It would be used directly in GL. No sub ledger should pass entry in this book.
Can I create just another Set of Book for this purpose?
I would create a new responsibility and attach this set of book to that responsibility.
I would keep the OU, COA, calendar same for this SOB also.
