UCM Upgrade 7.8 to 8.2 - Error during Repository Merge and the process

Hello,

Customer is upgrading UCM 7.8 to 8.2 and got the following error when running repository Merge.
!!ERROR::SBL-DEV-62158: MergeType. Type - Menu Item - exiting with error An error has occurred executing a Sql statement.

Please continue or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DBC-00105)--
ORA-24345: A Truncation or null fetch error occurred

There is a posting or workaround posted in Reference Doc ID 476591.1, but that didn't resolve the issue.

Please advise.
