Problem in re-creating target host in OEM Grid Control

I hope somebody could provide me with a solution to this problem.

We use an account to install emctl agent in one target machine.  However the problem is, this account is tied up to the Preferred Credential.  I think I made the matter by deinstalling and re-installing the emctl agent in the target host without first removing the host target from the OEM Grid. 

I just  removed it after I installed the agent in the target machine.  Is there a way I could remedy the situation?

The following is the sequence of events.

I do not want to use the old account in the preferred credentials
