Stress Test Performance Monitoring

We are in the midst of an upgrade from XE to 9.0.  We have a new AS400 all-in-one system running V6R1 of op sys and Websphere 7.0.  We are planning to have everyone get on the system one afternoon for about an hour to "stress test" the system.  I am looking for some ideas on the best way to monitor how the system is performing while everyone is on doing their transactions.  Please advise.
