deletion of non-web version reports using web client

Can you please clarify this: non-web versions of processes had to be deleted via the full client, i.e. only web versions could be deleted via the web.

One of our web user deletetd the report and that report was non-web version. The user was under impression that only web version reports can be deleted using web. But that report was non web-version which was deleted using web client.
