Inventory Adjustment

 Hello
In prod system,i loaded opening quantities balances of items on 31dec2010,from this date to april2011,no transactions are performed but after stock taking on 30april2011,clients requirement is to adjust inventory as per 30april2011 because they want to go live on 1may2011,so how can we adjust from opening inventory 31dec2010 to 30april2011???

Example
Pencil item opening inventory on 31dec2010 loaded=100Quantities
Pencil item stock taking again on 30april2011=70Quantites

so how can we adjust 30quantites in this duration because we didnt perfrom any transation
