IMPDP performance

we have huge database where size of datapump generated from (expdp) is 80G and we have more than 8 testing environments

but using impdp is taking much time than accepted .... how can i enhance this utility performance

also any other suggestings to clone database is most welcome ,,, noting that shutdown the core database is not an option (as mentioned in cold backup work procedure).
