WSMPINVL.PROCESS_INTERFACE_ROWS is not populating any values after INVSPLIT

 hi,      I performed INVSPLIT transaction by using custom package. After execution it is successfully populating the INVSPLIT in oracle( front end). But in pl/sql ( i ran the custom package throught pl/sql) it is populating the error "Error in WSM_LOT_SPLIT_MERGES_INTERFACE". After debugging the error i came to know that the WSMPINVL.PROCESS_INTERFACE_ROWS   API  is not populating the values for "errbuf and retcode".
my question is this the problem occured due to package problem in  WSMPINVL.PROCESS_INTERFACE_ROWS   API?
can you please help me in this regards
