Adding second set of SCAN listeners ?

Have a requirement for user connections to come from a couple of different subnets than the subnet the public interface and public VIPs are using. Basically, two databases in my 3 node cluster, each with its own local listener. I know how to do the second network and local listener creates within the cluster but am unclear about if I can or even need to create another set of SCAN listeners on the new subnet for load balancing, etc.

Any input would be appreciated.
