MFS Laptop Personalization in R12

 Hello,
As per my understanding personalization feature is available in R12 MFS Laptop which can be done from Mobile Field Service Developer Responsbility which allows you to show/hide/re-organize the fields

I want to hide a field on a particular page by unchecking the current display status field but it does not allow me to do that...Are there any scripts which I need to run Or set any profile options before I do this...

Please suggest
