Oracle ASM experts,

Please help me to solve this puzzle.

I installed a 11gR2 grid infrastructure  for a standalone server on Linux CentOS 5.6 VM and everything works fine, except I got:

ADVM/ACFS is not supported on CentOS - release -5.6.el5.CentOS.1

I managed to follow blog to fix it and be able to create ACFS with ASM_VOL (40GB) and mounted on /opt/asm_vol

When the VM got rebooted, the device file at /dev/asm/asm_vol-368 disappeared, so now I am stuck with the 40GB occupied by it but could not get rid of it.

[root@dev11gR2 oracle]#  /sbin/acfsutil rmfs /dev/asm/asm_vol-368

Howdy, Stranger!
