Log write very slow

Dear All,

I've read the note LGWR Is Generating Trace file with "Warning: Log Write Time 540ms, Size 5444kb" In 10.2.0.4 Database [ID 601316.1]

This problem is related to log writter slowness ;its on RAID 10  but why it take all this time to write????

I belive there is slowness in write but how to prove it for the OS admin?or any suggestions????

Please see the below logs.

 Warning: log write time 700ms, size 1KB
