How to have less Shared supplies in the plan?

Has anyone used the profile MSO: Demand Size tolerance before splitting planned orders? Did it help in reducing shared supplies?

A shared supply is defined where one planned order is pegged to multiple demands. In our case, although we have Lot-for-lot checked in plan options, we are seeing numerous cases where a single planned order is pegged to multiple demands. The way priority pegging is working is such that if a very low down component in the supply chain bill is pegged to a parent component, which is ultimately pegged to an end demand with ship dates far wide of each other, those two demands now get built to much earlier dates.

Howdy, Stranger!
