SmartView 11.1.1.3-Member Selection Button Fails

This is my first Oracle Support Community post so I am hoping I am putting this in the right spot.
There are four users in our company that have issues with the Member Selection button in SmartView.  For three of the four users, the Member Selection button never works and they get frozen out of HFM or Hyperion Planning reports if they try to use it.  For the fourth user, the user can use Member Selection for HFM or Hyperion Planning/Essbase for various queries, and then the button freezes up and the user has to stop and restart Excel.
