Changing Data Dictionary Default on EDPM - EDI Batch Processing Flag

Has anyone had any feedback, positive or negative, or even gotcha's, on changing the Default Data Dictionary Value for the EDPM Data Item from "I" to "P"?

We do lot's of EDI processing and users frequently forget to  change the flag when creating the new Customer Master records.

We are just looking for any feedback that anyone has had on changing the default value on this Data Item.

Any feedback is appreciated.
