Changing customer information after Service Request is saved
I have a requirement to change the customer information after the SR has been saved. The user captures as much information as possible (summary, problem details, additional notes, etc) and must provide the SR number to the customer while on the phone. We sell thru distributors and do not know who the end customer is until they call for service. The customer information (customer, bill-to, ship-to) may not already be established in the system prior to the service call. Our customer service agents do not and will not have access to create new customers, bill tos or ship tos....only new contacts. Any workaround suggestions to
