Upgrading Historical Data

 Hello,

We are upgrading 10 years of historical data from R11.5.10.2 to R12.1.3.  We originally implemented Oracle 17 years ago.  What happens to the 7 years of data that is not being upgraded?

For example, if a new fixed asset was added 16 years ago, can we still see the history from the Assets workbench? 

Or, is the asset transaction just not viewable in the General Ledger detail? 

Please advise.
