OM: Unpick a SO line which has status of picked in OM and Staged/Pick Confirmed in Shipping

Good Morning!  11.5.9.2 with OPM Inventory.  OM order with picking in OPM inventory. I recently had the issue with one line of an order with a status of picked and the other line was released to warehouse. I wanted to backorder both lines to allow them to be "re-picked". My shipping dept was able to backorder  line 1 and line 2 but when we re-released the order only line 1 was available under OPM Inventory >>Transact Process Move Orders function. I resolved the situation but could not find a documented process to unpick a line which was Staged/Pick confirmed in Shipping.

I believe I have to use the "re-open" action from the delivery tab in Shipping Transactions but I don't know how the inventory goves from Staged back to it's original location.
