Using Compounding Taxes in Upgrade

 Hello All,

I am trying to create a Compounding Tax in an Upgraded Instance (11.5.10 to R12.1). I have done the following:

Created Tax1 (under the existing Upgraded Regime) with Compounding Precedence as 10

Created Tax2 without any compounding Precedence

Created Formula - TAX_COMPOUNDING for Tax2 with compounding details as:

Compounding Tax - Tax1; Compounding Rule - Add; Enforce Compounding - Yes

Both the above taxes belong to the same regime.

On creating a transaction in AR with the Tax classification Code as Tax2, clicking on Tax Details an error is thrown - The System cannot determine the Tax for this Transaction becuase the Compounding tax Tax1 for formula code TAX_COMPOUNDING is not applicable. Please contact your Tax Manager.
