Can we keep the database of both the sites in read-write mode?

 Hello,

Right now, we have a data center having a Production Database (10.2) in RAC, two Oracle application servers for intranet based application, 3 Oracle Application Server for Internet Based Application, 2 Oracle Database Non-RAC etc. Both the applications can exchange/access the data of each other and so, database is the same for both the application.

Our client is planning to establish a Near DR site in distance of 30-40 km. On one of the site, intranet based application will work and on other site, internet based application will work. Data of either site will be replicated using block level replication by Sun Storage 7000.

Howdy, Stranger!
