Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Inquiry of item's description on an alternative language.

I want to see my item description in another language.

How can I do it ?

I entered the alternative description of the item lets say French on Item Master.

Then I changed on the user profile's revision the Translation Preference to be on French too.

I don't want the menus or forms etc, to be in French, just to see and print the item description in French.

Do I have to do something more, like changing Data Dictionary ?
