System stock not matching the Physical stock for the Raw Material due to excess yield
Hi All,
One of the Customer has problems in defining the BOM structure for an Aluminium alloy processing set up.
Below is the Customer's scenario:
We are buying Aluminium alloy in kgs and producing components in numbers.
In bill of material module we have defined 6% as the melting loss per unit consumption. but physically sometimes it is taking 5% or 4% melting loss only.
Due to this we are getting excess stock.
For example if we give 90kgs of alloy and getting 900 components in return, sometimes we are getting 1000 in return for the same 90kgs.
We calculate melting loss for each component say for example 6%, if the component weight
