What is the directory "Clusterware" ?

I have a two nodes 11.2.0.2 cluster (node names rac1 and rac2) and I wonder what are the directories Clusterware and rac1 found under ORACLE_BASE :
/u01/app/oracle/
|-- Clusterware
|   `-- ckptGridHA_rac1.xml
|-- admin
|-- cfgtoollogs
|-- diag
|-- product
`-- rac1
    `-- checkpoints
        `-- Clusterware
            `-- index.xml
Can I remove theses two directories ?
