DBconsole rebuild

Hi All,

I have a question about rebuilding the dbconsole. Everything I have read says to emctl recreate -repos

My question is if I run this command does it hurt or damage in anyway user data?  I have verified that the system does not use the sysman or the dbsnmp user.  I am new to the dbconsole concept and I am a little concerned about it.  When it says repository I am hoping that is only the repository for only the dbconsole and its analysis.
