How can i update /etc/release file
Hi,
I've just applied all patches for Solaris 9 (9_Recommended_CPU_2011-04) but when i open the release file i get a mismatch information comparing with the showrev cmd.
# cat /etc/release
Solaris 9 9/05 s9s_u8wos_05 SPARC

# showrev
Hostname: xpto
Hostid: xxxxxxx
Release: 5.9
Kernel architecture: sun4u
Application architecture: sparc
Hardware provider: Sun_Microsystems
Domain:
Kernel version: SunOS 5.9 Generic 122300-57 Feb 2011
Has you can see the kernel version doesn't match the info on the release file, so how can i update this file?
Thanks a lot
