rsh Problem on Solaris 10 Generic_144488-12 sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise
Hello,
we installed a Solaris 10 and the recommended Patch Cluster.
Because of a legacy Installation we need rlogin (rcp/rsh).
We activate it with
svcadm enable svc:/network/login:rlogin
We placed a .rhost in the users home directory and /etc/hosts.equiv with the necessary host entry.
Here is the problem:
from another host:
1. rsh host -> ok
2. rcp filename host:/directory -> Connection refused
3. rsh host date -> Connection refused
could anyone give us an advice what we can check?
There is no log for the rlogin in the directory /var/svcs/log.
There is no info in messages.
