Automate opening periods

 Hi,
We're on 11.5.10.2 so we don't have the extra functionality to automate opening periods that we would be able to take advantage of if we were on R12.  Since we have about 30 sets of books this is a rather time consuming process to get them all open each month.  Does anyone have any suggestion on how to automate this process in this version?  I thought maybe I could add Open Periods as a concurrent process in the GL Concurrent Program group so that we could schedule it to open the 1st of every month.  Although I can see the
