Pick Release Defaults

Hi All,


Please let me know if you have any idea/suggestions on the following questions. We want to confirm our understanding based on experiences:

1.Default pick from subinventory for back ordered lines. Our test tells us that for both serialized (control = At SO issue) and non-serialized items, the pick from subinventory always defaults to a non-stage subinventory. However for serialized (control = At Receipt) items, the pick from subinventory is always STAGE subinventory. We are not able to find any documentation that clearly tells us that for all items, STAGE subinventory will be the first subinventory that will be looked for allocation of back ordered lines.
