Defaulting Rule not working in Order entry form

 I've created a defaulting rule on the request date column at the line level. THis column gets the corresponding value from the header level

But when I change the header level request date the line level request date does not change.

The following is the data that is set up

Application -Order Management

Entity-Order Line

Attribute-Request Date

defaulting condition= always

precedence=1

default source /type=Order Header.request date

source type=Related Record

 

I've also run the 'Defaulting Generator' concurrent program.

Has anyone faced similar kind of problem. PLease suggest.
